In 2004, I began working directly with individuals facing these challenges, and it opened her eyes to the immense struggles experienced by both them and their families. I realized there was a significant gap in support for adults with developmental disabilities, especially as they transitioned out of childhood services and decided to take action!

 When selecting the best support workers to represent JHRSS, we prioritize individuals who demonstrate compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.  Additionally, adaptability, patience, and the ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and positive demeanour are vital qualities we search for in our team.

 Our mission is to provide personalized care for adults with developmental disabilities, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and community integration. Additionally, we offer respite services, allowing caregivers to take a break and recharge, knowing their loved ones are well cared for.
